Trail Talk: Issue 45: A Visitor from Florida
A 74-year-old Bradenton, Florida resident, vacationing in Northwest Indiana to escape the summer Florida heat and humidity, praised the Panhandle trail for its peaceful environment and suitability for exercise.
The rider, who travels to the area annually for a relaxing getaway with family, reported that daily cycling has
significantly improved his health and that he plans to return next year. He and the wife rent a house for
seven to eight weeks each year to visit kids and grandkids.
“I’m glad that I found the Panhandle. Thank you for such a nice trail,” he said.
